Home-life practice
Crate routines, settling, polite attention, waiting to be released, grooming comfort, and early house manners.
For puppies staying longer
Extended Puppy Preschool is for puppies who benefit from staying a little longer before going home. During this time, puppies receive age-appropriate practice with daily life, training foundations, handling, outings, rest, and transition skills so the first weeks in their new home feel less overwhelming.
$500 per week
Crate routines, settling, polite attention, waiting to be released, grooming comfort, and early house manners.
Car practice, safe outings, surfaces, sounds, movement, novel objects, and recovery after small surprises.
Practical recommendations so families know what has already been started, what their puppy needs next, and how to keep building momentum.
Best fit
The first weeks with a new puppy can be joyful and intense. Extended Puppy Preschool gives an eligible puppy more time in a structured, puppy-literate environment before that big transition.
What puppies continue practicing
Extended Preschool is not a promise of a perfectly trained puppy. It is a stronger foundation: more practice, more structure, and a more informed handoff before puppy pickup.
Availability and price
Extended Puppy Preschool includes daily care, training foundations, socialization and exposure work, handling practice, and transition support while the puppy is here.
This program is usually offered to puppies already connected to K9 Level Up through Puppy Preschool, Takikawa Dogs, co-owned litters, or close breeder partnerships where I know the puppy's background.
